You could use this tutorial for the Alternative Universe Pirates Tea at Costume College by trimming this with otherworldly details! Also, if you are joining Costumers Guild West for the Pirate Picnic on October 18, this tutorial is extremely helpful for any last minute costuming, because who has time to go buy fosshape?

Like she stepped out of a portrait! I love this gorgeous gown from SewLoud, as photographed by Michele Quigley for her 1790s series.
