Kudos to our friends at the Glen Ellyn Park District! They do a great job managing PD lands, with a small staff! Why not volunteer and help them out?

Keep your pumpkins until the smash! Compost your Jack-o-lanterns and take out some energy and any thing that may be bothering you by smashing your pumpkin! Catharsis!

🎃♻️ Don’t let your pumpkins end up in the trash! Bring your old jack-o’-lanterns to Village Green Park for a smashing good time. Join us on Saturday, November 7, from 9-11 am for pumpkin composting. You can drop off your pumpkins and go, or bring a baseball bat or shovel to smash and chop them! Just remember to remove all decorations and candles, and make sure the pumpkins aren’t painted.
