Jorge is a student at UC Davis Medical School, currently doing a rotation in the neurological intensive care unit. 📚🩺
Thank you to the generosity of our fund holder for this scholarship that was made in memory of Dr. Joseph Kraut, who dedicated his career to providing care for residents of South Santa Clara County and San Benito County. 💙

This week, our Board had the honor of presenting Gilroy Foundation scholarships to graduating seniors at Gilroy High School and Christopher High School. 🎓A big congratulations to all the outstanding recipients! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of this year's scholarship recipients at all four high schools, who collectively were awarded more than $450,000 in Gilroy Foundation scholarships. 💫

We are deeply grateful for our generous donors, our volunteer readers, and our partnership with the GUSD for making these scholarships possible! 💙

We wish all Gilroy graduates the very best as they continue their educational journeys! 🎓🎉

We were delighted to see second graders take center stage during a performance of the Starting Arts Music Program this morning! 🎶

With the help of our Connell Family Music Fund, all second graders throughout Gilroy Unified School District are being taught vocal-based music instruction and technique. The performance we enjoyed at Rucker Elementary School is just one of the opportunities for the students to demonstrate what they have learned throughout the school year.

Thank you to the Connell family for making music a part of our second graders’ curriculum since 2018. We are honored to support music education in Gilroy’s classrooms!

We had the privilege of presenting Gilroy Foundation scholarships this week to some outstanding students of Mt. Madonna High School and Dr. TJ Owens Gilroy Early College Academy . 🎓

Gilroy Foundation is granting nearly $460,000 in scholarships across the four high schools in Gilroy and Gavilan College this year. We're incredibly proud to support the Class of 2026 - your future is bright! 💙

We celebrated an incredible evening of community and giving at our Annual Meeting and Grants Giving in April! 💙

✨We were thrilled to award our 2026 Competitive Grants to 18 amazing non-profit groups. Thank you to our generous donors, Board members, and guests who attended and a very special shout out to Old City Hall Restaurant for being our gracious host.

🌟This year, we are investing more than $1 million in grants and scholarships, including $548,046 in support for nonprofit groups through our Competitive Grant Program, Donor-Advised Funds, Designated Donor Funds, and annual distributions to our Nonprofit Partners.

We're grateful to help continue to lift up nonprofit groups that are doing important work every day to make Gilroy and the greater South County stronger. 💪

Last week we celebrated Noche de Cuentos with our friends Library and .ofrenda.festival! Thank you to everyone who gathered with us at Casa de Cultura y Arte to learn more about our Susie Seledon Literacy Fund and collaboration with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library📖

We loved talking more with families and sharing how they can sign up to receive free books for their children ages 0-5📚
