We provide grants to local health and recreation programs, visual and performing arts, and many other youth-oriented projects in Gilroy, San Martin and Morgan Hill.

We regret to share that the 2026 Home + Garden Tour & Artisan Market has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.

While this was not an easy decision, our priority is ensuring we can continue to serve our community in the most meaningful way possible. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and attendees who make this event so special each year.

We look forward to bringing this beloved event back in the future and continuing our mission to support youth programs in Gilroy, San Martin, and Morgan Hill.

Because of the incredible support from our community, and the 2025 Home + Garden Tour & Artisan Market, the Gilroy Assistance League is proud to share that we awarded $47,000 in grants this year to local organizations serving youth in our community. 💙

These funds go directly to programs that uplift, educate, and empower young people right here in Gilroy, Morgan Hill and San Martin - supporting everything from education and enrichment to essential resources and opportunities that help our youth thrive.

Every ticket purchased, every sponsorship secured, and every donation made helps turn compassion into action. This impact is because of you.

We were proud to represent Gilroy Assistance League at the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce Women’s Leadership Summit today — an inspiring afternoon filled with connection, empowerment, and community.

This incredible event brings together women from across industries to grow, support one another, and build meaningful relationships that strengthen our community.

Having the opportunity to share our mission — granting hope to children and youth in South Santa Clara County — and connect with so many passionate leaders was truly special.

🌾 Supporting the Next Generation of Ag Leaders! 🌾

Our members Julie and Judy visited the Gilroy High School FFA program, where they were warmly welcomed by Program Director Allyah Perez-Pulido. Allyah shared the incredible growth of the FFA program, what started with just 4 students has now grown to over 30 active members! Students are learning hands-on agriculture, showing livestock, and stepping into leadership roles with pride and confidence.

Thanks to a recent Gilroy Assistance League grant, the program has already made exciting upgrades:
✨ Five brand-new modern fitting chutes to help students safely prep their steers—lighter, easier to transport, and ready for the Santa Clara County Fair this July.
✨ New tools like rakes, wheelbarrows, and shovels to help maintain animal stalls and support daily barn care.

The impact is clear—while only 2 students showed at the fair in 2021/2022, this year approximately 14 students will show cattle, with several others showing sheep. The enthusiasm, growth, and pride among these young leaders is truly inspiring.

💜 The Gilroy Assistance League is proud to support the Gilroy High School FFA and can’t wait to watch these students continue to grow, learn, and shine.

What an inspiring site visit to Community Solutions! ✨💜

Gilroy Assistance League member Teri Fortino recently had the pleasure of visiting one of our 2025 grant recipients, Community Solutions. We met with Lisa, their amazing coordinator, who gave us a tour of their festive holiday warehouse where teams were hard at work assembling gifts for families in need. 🎁

It was truly moving to see how Community Solutions supports hundreds of families, providing not only holiday gifts, but also essential hygiene items, food, counseling, and critical resources that make a real difference in our community.

Days like this are a powerful reminder of what’s possible when organizations come together with a shared mission of care and compassion. 💫 Together, we are spreading hope, dignity, and support to those who need it most. 💛🙌
