🐾 Monday Morning, the Response Crew was on the move!
A family had a pressing need when large branches from their crabapple tree broke off and landed inside their fenced-in area. The branches were loaded with crabapples, making them incredibly heavy.
The problem? 🐶 Tucker couldn’t safely go outside. Crabapples can be toxic to dogs, and the ground was covered with them. So, we got to work cutting and removing those VERY HEAVY, apple-loaded branches.
Tucker can now get back outside to do his business… although, sadly for him, the snack bar is officially closed! 😂🐾
And there was another bump in the road—literally! Their driveway was filled with deep potholes that made getting to the house difficult at spots.
So we filled the holes, spread a fresh layer of stone, and gave them smooth travels all the way to the house.
Another need met. Another family blessed.
That’s what the Response Crew is all about—being the Hands and Feet of Jesus and helping our neighbors in practical ways. ❤️🙏

This family was left with legacy debris—debris they simply had no way to handle on their own. The township was asking them to get it removed, and they desperately needed some Response Crew help. So, once again, the Lord opened a door for us to serve.

The Carl Spaatz Memorial in Boyertown was in desperate need of some TLC. Overgrown ground cover, weeds taking over, and tired-looking mulch had taken away from this beautiful community landmark.
Monday morning, a few New Ridge Response Crew volunteers teamed up with Stephanie from the Boyertown Rotary to change that!
No, this wasn’t a widow, an elderly gentleman coming home from the hospital, or a single mom who needed a helping hand.
This is OUR community. And the Response Crew is FOR OUR NEIGHBORS! ❤️
We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside the Boyertown Rotary and help make our community a little better, one project at a time.

The Response Crew—and especially Jack—are so grateful to New Hanover Township Police Officer Davidson for noticing Jack’s situation and reaching out.
After more than a year of overgrowth, 19 NR Response Crew volunteers came together to restore Jack’s property and bring it back to its former condition. ❤️
When Jack saw what had been accomplished, he said:
“I know you said you were going to do it all in one day, but I never expected this.”
“I just can’t believe what went on here.”
Jack’s reaction says it all. What may have looked like yard work to some was an opportunity for 19 volunteers to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus and remind one of our neighbors that he is not alone.
