The Gig Harbor & Key Peninsula Land Fund is a locally-focused committee of the Great Peninsula Conservancy.

We work to preserve the lush green forests, healthy salmon streams and quiet open spaces that make our community healthy for people and wildlife! “As a fund of Greater Tacoma Community Foundation, GTCF has the authority to redirect distributions from the Gig Harbor Land Conservation Fund if it becomes necessary to protect donor intent. We could not be anymore excited about this! The first trail through the 50+ acre txʷaalqəł Conservation Area in downtown Gig Harbor that happened thanks to the leadership of City Council, Mayor and staff and significant contributions from Pierce County, the Puyallup Tribe and YOU thorough donations to the Great Peninsula Conservancy via our local Gig Harbor Land Conservation Fund !!!

This loop trail is lovely! You will not believe that you are in the middle of Gig Harbor... It is so quiet. It is a bit steep in parts, so be ready for a good workout!

THIS WEEKEND - Clean your Car for Conservation! April 18 & 19 Classy Chassis Car Wash & Xpress L**e will donate $1/wash to the Great Peninsula Conservancy's Gig Harbor & Key Peninsula Land Fund. These dollars will be reserved to conserve land right here in the GH/KP community.
