So, we did a photoshoot a few months ago & we really didn't know what were getting into. LOL. But we are glad we did it!

Its been 3yrs since we lost our friend, Cpl Han Cho. The Cho family graciously provided a In N Out burger truck today at GGPD. It was a fun day catching up & interacting with each other. And yes, our dogs got burger patties 😀 Hancho, now you know where he got his name, got his first taste of a In N Out Burger. Hancho & Nellie ate like royalty. LOL. Even retired Misha showed up & had a few burgers.

When Dad can't find your shoes & you have to wear your sisters shoes! How embarrassing. 😆 Sorry Hancho, glad you & Nellie are the same size 😀. Explosive Training outdoors & temperature was 100°. Hancho is learning fast! Tomorrow night at National Night Out, Hancho will put on a Detection Demonstration. See you tomorrow night & stop by our booth. We got new K9 Plushy's, new K9 T-Shirts and new stickers. All proceeds go to our Non Profit, John Reynolds Youth Support Canine Foundation.

So, summer went quick! Support K9 Nellie, Shelby & Nala can't wait for the new school year. Nellie, Shelby & Nala all attended and graduated a Support K9 Course during the summer break. And currently Hancho is being trained to become an Explosive Detection K9. Hancho is doing great! He'll graduate from Explosive School just before the new school year 😀. Our dog pack will be out and about visiting in front of GGPD on Aug 4th for National Night Out. See you there.

That's a wrap! 5th year of the Support K9 Conference. 24 dogs from all over the place. Nellie, Shelby & Nala had fun. Nala our "Rookie" did AMAZING. Nellie acted the Veteran & Shelby was a experienced young dog 😉 . So many things were going on. Classroom: Legal talk, Documentation, First Aid, Debriefs on deployments, peer support & mental health training. The list goes on and on. Out of classroom: Obedience, Toy Distraction, Drones, City Hall Visit, School District visit, Long Beach Fire Boat ride, Long Beach Aquarium, Bag pipes & drums, K9 Field agility, off road golf cart...we exposed the dogs to so many different environments. It was a long week. 😀 But the dogs did great! We can't wait till next year.

Busy week. We're getting ready for the Suppprt K9 Conference next week. We rebuild one of our Aframes and put out our dog teeter totter at our K9 Field. Our dog pack had fun watching us & were happy to have a chew stick.

Pops & Cops! AKA Popsicles & Police Officers 😉 Our little pack loved hanging out with over 100 kids today. Fun summer activities in Garden Grove. Good times at the Chapman Library.

Meet NALA. Nala is 17 months old & is a Irish Setter Labrador mix AKA "Settador" 😉. K9 Nala is a perfect fit to our dog pack. Thank you to all of those who make donations to the John Reynolds Youth Support Canine Foundation. Nala & the entire adventure of picking her up & bringing her home was paid for by the Foundation. Thank you all!

As everyone knows, Garden Grove has been very busy the last few weeks. Our handlers worked 10-12 days straight working very very long shifts. Work schedules were changing daily & the trip to pick up Nala changed several times. Thank you to Delta Airlines for working with us and being very flexible with our travel arrangements. A HUGE shoutout to Underworld Kennels & Dog Training. And thank you Rocky Mountain Service Dog Project. Both located in Northern Utah. The 2 day trip was short & sweet. Nala is great! She did amazing on the plane. Once in California, Nala had her first photo shoot & school visit. Kids love her!

And yes, we have Nala stickers & cards on order. ;) Oh, and yes we also ordered new K9 plushy's of Nala, Shelby, Nellie & Hancho.
