Ten years ago, a small group of people made a promise — that the stories of Vietnamese refugees would not be forgotten. That the photographs carried across oceans, the voices of survivors, the artifacts of a people displaced by history would be preserved with dignity for the generations who came after.

Tomorrow, we honor that promise. And we recommit to it.

Two days from now, the room at Lavender's Hall will come alive.

Dr. Sean O'Harrow — President & CEO of the Bowers Museum, one of the most respected cultural institutions in Southern California — joins us as a special guest, honoring a decade of Vietnamese heritage preservation.

Bảo Châu, Thế Sơn, and Vasa Diệu Nga will perform. The Việt Cầm Dance ensemble and Ngàn Khơi Choir will fill the hall with music and movement that carries the soul of our community.

MC Leyna Nguyễn and MC Hoàng Dũng will guide us through the evening.

This is not a program assembled lightly. Every person on that stage has earned their place in the story of Vietnamese culture and memory.
