Project Flux

Project Flux The aesthetic of project flux includes a heavy emphasis on gestural work, stretching the boundaries of what is awkward and what is beautiful.

Since its inception in 2013, Project Flux has established a strong following amongst Boise audiences and the Treasure Valley dance community, presenting works that fuse intricate gestural movement with classical technique and improvised play. Its collaborators include: Ballet Idaho, Boise Dance Co-op, Boise State University, Idaho Dance Theatre, MING Studios, TEDx, Treefort Music Fest, and WHYTEBE

RG LA. Project Flux Dance is a nonprofit arts organization and as such, depends on support from the community to produce the performances and other programs we offer in the Treasure Valley. Please consider supporting Project Flux by visiting our website a www.projectfluxdance.org.

Introducing the first artist for the May 3 Perspectives: Sove The Second. Come see them THIS Sunday at at 2:00 PM. Info is at the link in our bio.

Criers, nihilism deniers, and DIYers to the front! Boise based Sove The Second makes indie-whatever-rock for the overwhelmed and overthinkers, embracing uncertainty in a nonsensical universe. Everything is a journey—starting (and stopping) SSRIs, forcing optimism in your twenties, or eating Zots outside your elementary school. Whether it’s airy folk pop, mathy punk, or a jazzy groove, Sove The Second is your sonic companion through struggle and stability.
