Five more weeks, y’all! September 25,26, and 27. The 2nd Annual Street Art Festival! Mark your calendars and SAVE THE DATE. You are not going to miss this! A kid friendly event was fun for the whole family! Entertainment, Vendors, and of course, beautiful chalk murals painting the parking lot at Courthouse Square! Come early to see the artists sketch out their paintings, then come back later to see them coming to life. And be sure to come back Sunday to see the completed works of art and the judging! Like watching a Polaroid develop in slow time!! This event is free to the public, and I’ll proceeds go to uplifting our unsheltered Neighbors.

Calling all artists, wannabe artists, art lovers and fun lovers! Gallup Burrito Project is excited to announce our second annual Gallup Street Art Festival fundraiser on September 25–26 at Courthouse Square in downtown Gallup, NM! We would love to have you join us - as an artist, a vendor, a volunteer, or an entertainer! If you would like to make a difference in people’s lives and have a ton of fun doing it, please come out and help make this an awesome event for our community. Gallup Burrito Project is seeking community entertainers for our 2nd Annual Street Arts Festival on September 26–27. We would especially like to emphasize Gallup’s unique cultural diversity! We encourage Indigenous, Hispanic, country/western and other cultural groups to show off their customs and heritage with storytellers, musicians, dance groups, drum circles, etc. Explanations, demonstrations, instruction, and /or public participation, in dances, songs and customs would be awesome. How about line dancing classes? We would also love to have magicians or novelty performers. A karate demonstration would be great addition! Grade school, middle school, high school, and college groups such as cheerleaders, baton troupes, flag corps, drum corps, etc. are welcome, too! (Just throwing out some ideas). Please come out and help us help others by showing off your unique talents. All proceeds go to uplifting our unsheltered neighbors. ♥️ ♥️ PLEASE SHARE!
