Clothing with a Purpose is committed to helping children start school with new shoes. If you need help with good clean clothing for your children to go to school AND need new shoes on their feet, Contact your school social worker. We have clothes, shoes, toiletries and more to help children stay in school!!
One clean shirt can make a difference! New shoes can be a game changer! We are here to help!!

Have you visited the clothing room at the Unity Project? If not, please take time to stop by. Wednesday is our big day where we help our guests get clothing for job interviews, new jobs and time at church. But we are also there on Tuesday and Thursday. But if you or someone living on the street has an emergency the clothing room is open for you. Thanks to some very special volunteers we are well stocked and organized. Thanks to everyone that keeps this room running and helps countless people on their journey!!

Did you know….. You can help support Clothjng with a Purpose by consigning your gently used treasures that you no longer need with
BROWN EYED GIRL on Thompson Bridge Road, Gainesville Ga.
Last week we received a check for over $1300 for items that had been sold. All donated by some of our amazing supporters.
Stop by there do a little shopping and take something no longer needed. Ask for it to be put under our account.
This check will help to purchase New Shoes for Back to School for some our most in need children in Hall County.

Last week Clothing with a Purpose was excited to be able to share over 100 scrubs with Good News Clinic! Some were new with tags on and some were gently used. Either way they’ll help volunteers and new nursing students have the correct apparel for working at the Clinic and at the Unity medical triage on Wednesday mornings.
As always we’re happy to give that “one clean shirt” to make a difference!!

The Clothing room at Unity is fully stocked and ready to help you with your clothing needs for interviews, working, going to church and more. We have an amazing group of volunteers that are there every Tuesday and Wednesday. We’d like to expand to help more people during more hours. Clothes are always available, but we love to help you find the perfect items. Join us to volunteer!

The Clothing with a Purpose room at the Unity Project continues to serve dozens of people every week. A special thank you to Dana and Ginny. Last Wednesday they made sure everyone that needed clean shirts, pants, shoes or underwear received the needed items. Great job ladies!!

CLOTHING WITH A PURPOSE seeks your assistance. We are looking for a location in Gainesville to operate our 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization. We currently serve 18+ shelters and programs, with a continually growing list. Additionally, we receive an increasing number of donations, necessitating a more suitable space for accepting, sorting, and organizing them for delivery. The ideal location must be climate-controlled, equipped with a bathroom, and be secure.

This past week, Clothing with a Purpose was very busy assembling over 120 Emergency Essentials Backpacks. Many times, if a homeless person goes to the hospital for treatment and is then released, it is sometimes in nothing more than a hospital gown. And there are other situations where an unhoused person finds themselves in an emergency-type situation and unprepared. These backpacks were given to the Gainesville Police Department, mental health clinicians, and other social workers to help with any emergency situations that come up when the camps are closed. A special thanks to the people who made monetary donations to make this project possible and to the Cresswind community for helping to assemble them! With more donations, we hope to keep this project going as long as needed! (Special note: these bags contain new pants and a T-shirt, boxers, a rain poncho, flip-flops, socks, a toiletry bag, and a snack.)
