Mississippi-style ribs, sausage, potatoes, and homemade cornbread! ❤️ There’s nothing better than a home-cooked meal shared with good people.

Thanks to Hesse Heat & Air we are cool as cucumbers at VISTO today! 🙌💙

We cooked ALL day yesterday in this heat, so having our AC back today feels absolutely AMAZING! 🥵➡️😎

Backpack Buddies is BACK! 🎒

We’ve missed these Mondays — the people, the laughs, and the organized chaos that somehow gets hundreds of bags packed and ready to go. 😂
Our crew jumped right back in like we never left. Bags moving, boxes flying, everybody pitching in wherever they were needed.

They came in smiling and left looking a little more... accomplished. 😂

We sure are glad to have our Backpack Buddies crew back together. ❤️

We love when helping our community turns into a team effort. ❤️

Just in the month of August, VISTO has provided 1,035 lbs. of in-kind food donations to St. Martha’s Kitchen at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, helping them continue feeding and supporting our neighbors in need!

🍽️ Food: 4:45–5:45 PM

1,035 pounds in one month! Good food, good people, and neighbors helping neighbors — that’s the kind of Gainesville we love. ❤️

🎒 Backpack Buddies prep is officially underway!

We had some extra helping hands from the Super Seniors at Muenster ISD getting everything ready for Backpack Buddies, right alongside some of our wonderful regular volunteers. 💙

We love seeing the Super Seniors jump in and help, and we definitely have to give some love to our regular crew who shows up week after week and keeps VISTO moving.

Good people, lots of helping hands, and a whole lot of backpacks coming soon! 🎒❤️
