Just so everyone knows, we are fighting with Meta/facebook on some of our welcome posts. We do everything we can to make people aware of what comes into Rockstar, and we never talk about selling dogs, or adoption fees on facebook. If this continues, we may have to just in passing mention we have new additions and you will have to wait and see them on the website. I (Lynne) also want to reiterate, once again, that anything you want to know about where we are located, our fees, where the dog is located, are they available, and more, can be found on the website. This round I have deleted more applications that are not in our placement region, and answered the "where are you located" question more times than I can count on all fingers and toes. Enough, please. I spend way too much time working thru all of that and then people want to know if they are approved yet. I haven't even gotten to the applications yet! Thank you for understanding.

And last but not least, help us welcome Wyatt to Rockstar Cocker Rescue! Wyatt is a handsome red and white male who is 3 years old. He was retired out the breeding program in efforts to downsize and we are thrilled to have him in rescue. Wyatt is currently being fostered in IL and we will update as we get to know more about him. One thing discovered is he loves to watch tv! Welcome to rescue, Wyatt!

Please help us welcome another sweet girl into our fold. Quinn is a petite black and white female who is currently being fostered in IL. She just got her hair done and the groomer said she was an angel for her first official grooming. More as we get to know her.

Next, help us welcome into the fold Malone, or Lonnie as we will be calling him! Lonnie is a 2 year old male chocolate and white Cocker. This boy is shy but loves to be close to his foster mom right now, so we know he will come out of his shell once he realizes there is no more life in a noisy kennel. He has already mastered the toy box and snuggling. Lonnie is a big boy which explains why Lance is as well. More as we get to know him!

Next on our welcome list is Idol, or as we call him, Billy Idol! Billy Idol is a 5 month old black and white male who came up from the SW MO facility. He had a cherry eye and we took care of it with his vetting. He is settling in at his foster home in IL and i am guessing he is all puppy! More as we get to know him and again, if you already have an application in, message us and we can work with you while we evaluate Billy's needs. Welcome Billy Idol!!

Next help us welcome Hogan and Hogie, brothers who are 9 months old. They came in as aged out puppies from the SW MO facility and are living the life in their foster home in IL! They have already figured out how to empty the toy box and put them on the dog bed. Welcome, Hogan and Hogie, to Rockstar Cocker Rescue.
The boys will take a little bit of time to adjust and be ready, but if you already have an application in and are interested, please message us. Thank you!

Oops, I did a Happy Tails I already did :) Now it is time to announce all of our newbies that came in on Saturday! NINE total newbies; one is an owner surrender and the other eight are SW MO facility surrenders. If you are ready, here we go!

Our owner surrender is Kami Jo and she cane ti ys after several hand offs and losses. Despite being sent to a rescue "due to her merle background", adopted from the rescue, then that home lost their home to a fire and another saviour stepping up, she is a very loving girl who just rolls with the punches and loves life. Her most recent home had additional hours added to the work schedule and her companion cocker passed away earlier and she really just needed more and the owner knew that. We brought her in and she is enjoying a lot of attention from her foster mom Jana and foster fur friends and is going to be an easy fit. Kami is 10 years young but don't tell her that as she moves as if she is 4 years old. Always a smile on her face. She appears to be potty trained and will make a great companion for a retired home who can spoil her and maybe even another dog to be friends with. More as we get to know her.

Another busy and productive weekend at Rockstar Cocker Rescue! We started today at the Dubuque Petsmart where we chatted with some people, but the smart people were out and about, enjoying the perfect weather day with their pups! Thank you Laura, Jana, Robin and Emily for volunteering and helping at the event.
Rockstar also had NINE dogs come in on transports in IA and IL. We will roll those Cockers out and introduce later today or tomorrow, but know that we have a lot of nice boys and girls that came in. One of the nine was an owner surrender who we will find a wonderful companion home for after so many losses in her life. She has been well cared for and loved and we will do right by her previous mom and her in matching her up.
We also have a Happy Tails to announce from earlier in the week/last weekend to announce! Biscotti, or Scotti for short went from his foster mom Kristy, in IN to his forever home in MN! Lots of our babies heading to MN :) Svotti came to us in late June from the SW MO facility and he is now loving life with Allison and Richard in Apple Valley, MN. He also gained a fur brother in the process! Congratulations to Allison and Richard, and Happy Tails, Scotti!!
