Organized to assist WIC-eligible families in obtaining supplies for babies and young children, Pitter Patter Pantry started in 2010. A pantry is maintained at the Shaw’s Express gas station and convenience store at 855 S. Mill Street, Mt. Carroll, IL. Hours of operation are available from the Car

roll County Health Department and listed on our Events page. In the event of inclement weather, please contact the Carroll County Health Department at 815-244-8855 for up to date information regarding closures. Each town in Carroll County has a local volunteer who accepts donations of new and gently used clothing, baby toiletries, and other layette items. Clothing sizes range from preemie to size 7. To obtain contact information for your local volunteer, please call the Carroll County Health Department at 815-244-8855. In addition, tax deductible financial contributions may be sent to Pitter Patter Pantry NFP, c/o Carroll County Health Department, 822 South Mill Street, Mt. Carroll, IL 61053.
