CrossView Church is excited to host our 1st Annual Vendor Event on Saturday, October 24 from 10 AM–3 PM!

We're looking for a variety of local vendors, makers, crafters, small businesses, and direct sales representatives to join us.

🏠 Indoor & outdoor spaces available
💲 $25 vendor fee
🍁 One vendor per direct sales company
📅 Applications & fees due by October 16
❤️ Proceeds benefit Community Dinner Church

Romans 14 is God's guide to help the church work through strong differences of opinion. There are some things that are indisputable, things that we must agree on. The Apostles Creed is filled with the truths that are non-negotiable. There are many other things that Jesus-loving, Bible-honoring, Spirit-filled Christians can disagree about. How do we disagree in a Christ-honoring way?

Our Middle School Youth Group for 6-8th Graders begins TOMORROW at the Bridge Youth Building at 6:30PM! Hope your students can make it.

MISSION TRIP: DAY 6 (FINAL DAY)

The team began with a morning devotional that was focused around Luke 5 (Redemption).📖

They spent the morning working on the flip house and painting. 🎨🖌️🫟

The afternoon was EXCITING! The team helped the Hope House kids and staff run a neighborhood lemonade stand! 🍋🍋

The evening ended with a debrief/reflection and packing up to come home. 🏠

The team will be leaving Hope House tomorrow morning at 8AM- please pray for their safe travels. 🚙

Thank you to everyone who has prayed for the team this week. The prayers were felt and appreciated by all! 🙏🙏

MISSION TRIP: DAY 5

This morning the team began their morning devotionals with reading from and focusing on John 5. The devotional was lead by the Hope House director, Riley Chowning.
The team read from their Bibles while driving through the Detroit/Hope House neighborhood. 📖❤️🚙

The team then went to the “flip house,” that Hope House is currently working on. They worshipped in the house and prayed a blessing over whatever family will end up buying and living in the home. They also got to hear a short devotional from co-founder, Gary Gentry. 🎵🏡🙏

Then the team got to work on the flip house and some team members went and worked on the Essex House where they cleaned/organized. 🧹🧽🧺

The team spent their afternoon working with the Hope House kids and staff at the Essex House where they continued their, “Cooking Week.” It was also “Worship Wednesday,” at Hope House Essex, so it was fun for them to worship with the kids. 🍳🥘🎶🎵

The team ended their day with a worship night with the Hope House staff. 🎵

Tomorrow will be the last day for the team to serve at Hope House Detroit. Please continue to pray for their safety and endurance. 🙏

MISSION TRIP: DAY 4

Today the team began their day with a POWERFUL devotional lead by the Hope House co-founder, Becky Gentry.
They focused on 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 and 2 Corinthians 4:7 📖

The team spent their morning working on a house flipping project and cleaning up the landscaping at The Hospitality House (where they are staying). 🌱 🦺 🪴

During the afternoon they helped lead, “Cooking Week,” with the Hope House kids at the Essex building. They also continued painting the playground fences and more landscape projects. 🧑‍🍳 🎨

The evening was filled with the Holy Spirit when they were lead by the Hope House Assistant Director, Jessica Brown, in an evening debrief where they talked about where they witnessed “God Sightings,” throughout their day. 🙏

They ended the night with a fun bonfire 🔥

MISSION TRIP: DAY 3

Today the team was BUSY serving around the Hope House Community in different capacities.

They began their day with a morning devotional with the executive director, Riley Chowning, and it was a very powerful way to start the day!

Then they headed out into the community to do various service projects. One project included working on a house flipping project with the co-founder of Hope House, Gary Gentry.

They spent their afternoon serving at the Essex House (Children’s Community Center) where they enjoyed, “Cooking Week,” with the kids.

They also painted the fences at the playground on the Marlborough House location.
