Our teen center will be opening up on Tuesday Sept 8th. We will be open after school until 5:00 pm for the MSAD72 district kids grades 8th - 11th. The teen center is a drop in program but we please ask that you fill out the form below if your child is planning on attending.

🇺🇸 Introducing Fryeburg Salutes 🇺🇸

The Fryeburg Salutes Volunteer Committee members are proud to introduce Fryeburg Salutes, a new community initiative created to honor and recognize the veterans who have served our country and have a connection to Fryeburg.

Beginning in 2027, personalized veteran banners will be displayed throughout Fryeburg from Memorial Day through the fall. Each banner will tell a small part of a veteran’s story and serve as a lasting reminder of the men and women who have served.

Whether you are looking to honor a family member, friend, neighbor, or someone special in your life, we invite you to learn more about the program and be part of Fryeburg Salutes.

Applications are now available!

The Molly Ockett Middle School football program is in danger of not happening. I wanted to share a few thoughts and give my plea to see if we can find more players for the program.

There are a lot of great sports out there, but in my opinion, there is nothing quite like football.
Football teaches you life lessons that go far beyond the field. It teaches you how to deal with adversity, because almost every play brings a new challenge. You get knocked down, things don't go your way, and you have to get back up and do your job on the next play.
It also teaches you what being part of a team really means. Eleven players have to do their job for a play to work. It doesn't matter who gets the credit. Sometimes your job is to make the tackle, or maybe it’s to block someone. Sometimes it's doing the little things that nobody sees. You have to be willing to sacrifice for the guy standing next to you and understand that the team is bigger than any one player.
Molly Ockett Football is at a critical point, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t frustrated and concerned.
Right now, our 7th and 8th grade football program at Molly Ockett needs 14 players to have a team.The school currently has 5.
That means there are classmates who desperately want the opportunity to play football this fall, but they need some of you to step up.
So here's the challenge:
ARE YOU WILLING TO HELP SAVE THE PROGRAM?
Are you willing to commit to a fall season, put in the work, and give your classmates the opportunity to experience what being part of a football team is all about?
Football is all about having that mindset of, "Yeah, I can step up for them and do my part"
That's what a teammate does.
You don't have to know anything about football. You don't have to be the biggest or fastest kid. You just have to be willing to show up, work hard, learn, and do your job for the people beside you.
Fourteen players is what the school needs, Five have already stepped up.
Who's next?
Sign up. Please give it a chance. Step up for your classmates.
Let's save this season and give these kids the opportunity to play. 🏈

What a beautiful day on Kezar Lake! ☀️🚤
Our Seniors on the Move group had such a great time out on the water today, followed by a delicious lunch at Loons Nest. It was a wonderful day of good food, good company, and enjoying one of the beautiful places right here in our own backyard.
A HUGE thank you to Lee at Kezar Lake Marina for donating the boats and giving us this opportunity. We truly appreciate your generosity and support of our seniors!
Thank you to the staff at Loon's Nest Restaurant at Kezar Lake Marina for the great food and wonderful service. And a special thank you to Diane and Katie Haley, for helping with the boats and making the day run smoothly.
