Lovely to have our annual visit from Ed and Jeanne Reilly. They delivered a generous donation from the parishioners of St Hyacinths Catholic Church in Westbrook. They were treated to French press coffee and chocolate chip zucchini bread made by our current guest, who also cleaned and created an arrangement of garden flowers. So much to celebrate.

Thank you so much to the many friends who sent donations in Joan Newton's memory. A founding member of Mother Seton House, and the first bookkeeper, she loved the moms and babies. We splurged on three maternity chairs. These two chairs downstairs swivel, glide and recline. The chair for the upstairs bedroom also rocks. In search of a little table to hold a cup of tea or baby bottle...

Truly honored for the opportunity to work with the Mother Seaton House and see firsthand the love and compassion that fills this special place. They offer comfort, support, and hope to soon-to-be mothers walking through difficult seasons with such grace and care. And then there are the smallest reminders of why it all matters so deeply — little baby hands, tiny fingers, and those soft dimples where the knuckles are supposed to be. So much hope held in something so small. A powerful reminder that sometimes the greatest gift we can offer someone is to simply love them well when they need it most.
