The Community Giving Tree

The Community Giving Tree Our goal is to provide holiday gifts and warm clothing to children in the towns that serve MASD 72

The Community Giving Tree (CGT) is a volunteer base holiday season program that identifies families unable to provide gifts for their children at Christmas. Through solicitation of sponsors, approximately 200-300 children are cared for. Each child receives gifts consisting of winter clothing and age-appropriate toys. This program could not exist without the generosity of the community whose donations ensure that no child goes without gifts Christmas morning.

As we head into fall, preparation is underway at The Community Giving Tree; our first meeting was in March to recap and vote in new officers.

Lauren Potter stepped in for two years as President after Cathy Cote stepped down.
Thank you both for all your hard work and dedication!
