3 of 3 - Beans is very urgent - really trying to find his family by Friday!

We need to find a forever family or foster family for Beans, Herbert and Sonny immediately. The walls are closing in on them quickly at the shelter.

Beans is only about 10 months old. Just like Herbert and Sonny, Beans is very social and loves other dogs and people, but we also know that he is great with cats. He’s a wonderful boy that doesn’t deserve the hand he’s been dealt, but I have faith that someone will step forward for him. I really hope that happens tomorrow.

Beans lives inside, okay? With his family.

“My beautiful, fuller than life, 4 year old tabby cat named Sylvester is in need of a new home. He is neutered and microchipped.

His situation is a bit complicated. He is currently in the care of a family in Anna, TX, where I rehomed him in 2024. I am his original owner and now live in NYC where I moved to care for an elderly parent, who is severely allergic to cats.

Sylvester's new family in Anna reported that they are now unable to reliably care for him, partly due to their new infant baby who is severely allergic to cats, but also because, Sylvester had become stressed in their home around autumn of last year and began pooping and peeing outside the litterbox. They reported to me that since the beginning of this year, they have been keeping him outside as a free roaming cat, feeding him, and letting him inside on hot days, which causes respiratory issues for their new infant.

I also want to mention that the family reported to me that last year they took Sylvester to a vet to have him checked for a UTI, to see if that would explain his accidents, but he didn't have one. Furthermore, he never exhibited this behavior in my care so I can only speculate that he somehow became stressed in their home.

His current family will soon be surrendering him to a local kill shelter if he cannot find a new home soon.
