The 2022 was wonderful! The storms that shut down the route early on Friday 11/4/22 couldn’t dampen spirit because we got to hang out in a hotel together! Saturday’s Fort Worth route was an outstanding change, and beyond the sketchy Dallas section, the sights on day 3 were beautiful!
Thanks to Kristi Suddock and Emmie Jeffcoat for making our Pack Up Team so much fun!

THE 2022 IS JUST A WEEK AWAY!
We have a small but mighty Crew Team this year. Although we're not going to be on the Sweep crew, we are the new Pack Up Crew. Gayla Bryant Cruikshank, Kristi Suddock, Stacie Skillman-Smith & Emmie Jeffcoat will be cruising around helping at Camp, Pit Stops and Grab N Gos.

IMPORTANT INFO for our crew team:
**Packing**
Your gear bag should weigh no more than 35 pounds. Easily toted bags with wheels are the best choice. Please avoid bringing any valuables with you. The Komen 3-Day assumes no liability for the replacement of lost items. So mark your bag clearly with your name and Participant ID number.

**Credentials**
If you have completed online check-in and your COVID health questionnaire (this questionnaire will appear in your Participant Center on October 31), you will be able to print your official event credential at home after November 1.
You must wear this credential at all times on the event in order to participate. We will provide you with a plastic sleeve and a special commemorative lanyard to hold your credential when you arrive at the 3-Day. If you have your plastic sleeve from a past event, please bring it.
We will not have computers or printers on site for participant use. If you forget your credential or haven’t completed online check-in before the September 23 deadline, go to the Late Check-In Help Desk to get a temporary credential. Then when you get back to the hotel on Friday afternoon/evening, you’ll need to come to Support Services at the Command Center to get your official event credential.

We regret to announce that we must postpone the 2020 Susan G. Komen 3-Day events to next year. We have been closely following the evolving guidance and updates from state officials and medical experts. At this point, it is unclear when large-scale events like the Komen 3-Day will be safe to hold. Due to the unique nature of the 3-Day, including the travel required by many of our community and the multi-day format, it is clear that we cannot hold these events this year.

While this isn’t surprising based on the news we’ve all been reading, we know it’s disappointing. We know how important this event is to our community and more importantly, the impact your fundraising has in the fight against breast cancer.

If you’re registered for the 2020 3-Day, please check your email for details about how your registration and fundraising can be transferred to the 2021 3-Day.

Breast cancer doesn’t stop just because of COVID-19. We need you now more than ever as we work to help those most at risk during this challenging time. You don’t have to stop your fundraising, because all funds raised will transfer to your 2021 3-Day fundraising account.

Thank you all for your support of the 3-Day and continuing to spread that Pink Bubble spirit even during these difficult times.
