A couple of weeks ago, I picked up seedlings from our amazing partner, Restorative Farms. 🌱

I handled those little babies with SO much care—and I was honestly nervous the entire drive that I might damage them before I even got them home! 😂

Thankfully, they made it safely, and our committed volunteers helped us to get them all planted.

I peeked in on their progress this past Saturday, and LOOK HOW MUCH THEY’VE GROWN! 🥹🌱

It’s amazing what a little care, a lot of love, and a dedicated team can do.

Thank you, Restorative Farms, for your continued support and partnership. We’re grateful to grow alongside you!

We didn’t let a little rain stop us! 🌧️🌱 We had seeds to get in the ground!

A huge THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who showed up and were willing to serve our community—even with a few raindrops falling. That kind of dedication means so much!

It was a good day at the garden…full of heart, hustle, and muscles! 💪🏽💚

Did we get everything perfect? Absolutely not! But we had fun and we enjoyed serving our community.

Thank you John Strachan for allowing a quick tour of the greenhouse. Everyone enjoyed that. Ya’ll check out that Bok choy and celery they are growing!!

🍉 A WIN for our Save-a-Melon mission! 🎉

You’ve followed our battle with pests determined to snack on our watermelons. But we had one tucked away in a separate bed, quietly growing under our watchful eyes.

Yesterday, it was finally harvest time—and boy, did this little survivor deliver! It looked amazing and weighed in at **11.5 pounds!** 🙌🍉

We’d love to tell you it tasted delicious, but this beauty was donated to help feed our community.

Cheers to whoever gets to enjoy it! We hope every bite is sweet—you’re eating our hard-earned garden victory!

We were so blessed to have the Greater Frisco Chapter of Jack & Jill at the garden this weekend! 🌱

Let me tell you… these young people came to WORK! 😂 They jumped right in and there was no stopping them.

They worked hard, got their hands dirty, and made a real difference. But my favorite moment came when one of them said, “I had a really good time today.”
And that right there made my heart smile. ❤️

I love when service doesn’t feel like a chore. When young people are having fun, building community, and making an impact without even realizing just how much they’re contributing.

That’s what St. Arbor is all about—grow, give, and build community. 🌱

Up early this morning to make sure yesterday’s seedlings that were planted got some water. 🌱💦 While I was there, I saw John Strachan from the hydroponics greenhouse coming in to check on things too.

It reminded me what a dedicated team we have. Early mornings, late evenings, all day Saturdays—all because we care deeply about this project and the people we serve. ❤️

It’s not always perfect, and we don’t always get it right. But that’s okay. We keep showing up, learning, growing, and moving forward.

Progress over perfection. 🌱💚 Every single time!

You just never know who’s going to show up at the garden! 💚🌱

Today, I got a wonderful surprise when Little Elm Rotary Member Ann Burton stopped by. She had heard that we needed some extra hands and decided to come see what she could do.

Well…she didn’t just come see. 😂 She grabbed her gloves and spent TWO HOURS playing in the dirt with me! 🧤🌱💪🏾

And when I say we put those hands to work, baby, we PUT THOSE HANDS TO WORK! 😂

Ann, thank you for showing up, getting your hands dirty, and serving with such a willing heart. Your hard work and dedication to service are truly appreciated.
At St. Arbor, we believe it takes all of us to grow something meaningful—and today, Ann helped us do just that. 💚

🚨🌱 CALLING ALL GARDEN MUSCLE! 💪🛠️

We just opened up volunteer spots for THIS SATURDAY, and we’ve got seedlings ready to go in the ground!

But first… we have to finish filling our new back garden beds, and these beds are no joke.

This Saturday’s mission:
🛠️ Shoveling dirt
💪 Pushing LOTS of wheelbarrows
✂️ Cutting wire for the bottom of the beds
📦 Layering 8 layers of cardboard in each bed
GOAL: Getting more beds ready for planting!

And just to put the workout into perspective…
It takes about 20 FULL wheelbarrows of soil to fill ONE bed. 😳

So if you’ve been looking for a way to help the garden AND skip the gym this weekend, we’ve got you covered.

Every bed we finish means more room to plant, more produce we can grow, and ultimately more fresh food we can provide to our community.

We worked our hinnies OFF today! 😂💪🏾🌱
And what better way to spend **National Service Day than getting our hands dirty and serving our community?!

Shoveling dirt is hard work. Shoveling it, loading it into wheelbarrows, transporting it, and then dumping it where it needs to go? Whew! 😩😂

But it was necessary to get our fall planting underway, and today we made some SERIOUS progress!
A huge THANK YOU to the Just Serve team for showing up and putting in the work with us today. You couldn’t have picked a better day to serve, and we truly could not have gotten as far as we did without you!

And just to put the work into perspective… it takes a minimum of 20 wheelbarrows of dirt for EACH bed! 😳 So when I say we worked hard, I mean HARD!
Today was a perfect reminder that service doesn’t always look glamorous. Sometimes it looks like dirt, wheelbarrows, sweat, sore muscles—and a whole lot of teamwork! 😂

The beds are getting ready for fall, and I’m getting ready for a really good night’s sleep! 😂😴
