Where Fashion Meets Purpose. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Jeannie was inspired to create a business that was more than just fast fashion.

Brands donate jewelry, accessories and beauty, and we build auction packages for vetted charity events nationwide. 500+ nonprofit events and $1.5M in donations since 2021. Gifting Brands Founder & CEO Jeannie Barsam left the corporate world in 2016 after leading Fortune 500 retailers including Gap Inc, Michaels, Talbot's, and Signet Jewelers. Gifting Brands was born out of a passion for helping women, children, and families in need with an innovative solution to an ongoing problem in the fashion world — what to do with excess inventory. Jeannie wanted to create a sustainable solution for apparel and jewelry brands to offload excess inventory ethically instead of ending up in a landfill. Gifting Brands provides brands with a sustainable solution while impacting the lives of people in need. Shoppers can purchase their favorite luxury and designer brands at a discount with every dollar of profit going to charities that change the world. Shopping for social good just got a whole lot easier — and a lot more fun! Gifting Brands is pioneering a new way to shop, combining philanthropy with luxury and designer brands online. She’s committed to helping nonprofits, retailers, and consumers make a difference through inventory philanthropy and shopping.

What a day. Yesterday our board members and friends came together to pack and ship jewelry for several charity events coming up soon.
There is something special about sitting around a table, choosing each piece, and knowing exactly where it is going and who it will help. These pieces are headed to fundraisers expected to raise over $40,000 for the charities behind them.
We are so grateful to the brands who trust us with their inventory, and to the friends who showed up to help. The credit for what these events raise belongs to the charities and their communities. We just get the joy of helping connect the two.
