Reverse trick-or-treating with a little extra love 🎃 Our members visited Village on the Park and Morada to spread Halloween cheer, share smiles, and remind our senior friends that they are loved and appreciated 👻 Sometimes the sweetest treat isn’t candy-it’s connection, kindness, and time spent together 🎃

Let’s bless those blessing boxes ❤️

Our FISDCares Blessing Boxes depend on the generosity of our amazing community, and right now, our boxes are running low! We are in need of volunteers to help monitor and refill them during the month of October.

Volunteers may choose one or all three locations to monitor, and we welcome support from organizations, businesses, youth groups, families, and individuals. Everyone is invited to make a difference!

As we head into fall, dreaming of cooler weather, we were excited to hear from Melissa Land with Collective Kindess last week who shared her passion for clothing children in need. As a community, we were able to donate gently used hoodies for her to distribute through her program. Collective Kindness

Spreading love, snacks, and gift cards to our Westwood teachers this week through our Thank You for Loving Here Program ❤️ even through so much adversity they prevail and we were excited to spread a little extra joy to them this week

FISDCares is continuing our Snack & Support Drive to help stock the Friendswood High School Counseling Center & Nurse Clinic with individually wrapped snacks and other essentials for students who may need a little extra encouragement, nourishment, or energy during the school day!

A small snack can go a long way in helping a student feel cared for and ready to keep going.

Love Blooms at Hope Village every day 💐 and as one of our favorite places to visit and serve, we encourage all to experience hope first hand. This is a great opportunity as well as many others to support an amazing home to so many right here in our community. Hope to see you there 🌺
