A little update on our sweet Aslan.
Just recently, Aslan came into our program weighing a heartbreaking 5 pounds. His little body was nothing but skin and bones, and it was clear he had been struggling for far too long.
Since bringing him into our care, we’ve learned a little more about his past, and it makes our hearts hurt even more for him.
Aslan is declawed, meaning he had very little ability to defend himself while trying to survive on the streets. At some point, he belonged to someone. He had a home. But somewhere along the way, he was failed.
The good news? Aslan is safe, and he’s still fighting. ❤️
He’s now in the loving home of his foster, Madison, who is doing everything she can to nurse him back to health. Right now, our focus is on helping his fragile little body recover through proper nutrition, continued veterinary care, and lots of love.
His recovery won’t happen overnight. After everything he’s endured, his little body needs time to heal. But thanks to Madison, Aslan finally has someone making sure he never has to go without again.
And we are going to keep showing up for him every step of the way.
But we still need your help. Aslan’s medical care, special food, and ongoing recovery all come at a cost, and we want to make sure he has everything he needs to get stronger.
Please consider donating toward Aslan’s continued care. Whether it’s $5, $10, or whatever you can spare, every dollar helps us give this sweet boy the second chance he deserves.
