We had a group of students from Gateway High School with Clovis Unified come out Tuesday for a service learning opportunity. They are going to attend a hybrid program designed specifically for them that will include volunteer work, as well as working with the mustangs. We cannot wait to start this program and work with these amazing students!
One of the students is working on the benefits of equine therapy and equine assisted living for her English class paper and found us. She reached out and now the whole class is involved! How cool!

We’re back!! Fall programs will start this month and we have a volunteer day this weekend. Come lend a hand and help us get ready for our programs to restart. We are so excited that Sarah is back is action and feeling well again! Our volunteer days are a great way to learn more about us, meet the animals and positively impact our programs. If you’d like to help, you can RSVP on our website at TheRideFoundatio.org

A huge thank you to Tyler for cleaning, sanding and staining our deck for fall programs. This was a much needed project to help protect our viewing platform and we greatly appreciate his continued help and support. The deck is looking brand new and ready for our restart!

Sarah is on the mend, summer is almost over and our programs are gearing up to get back on track for fall. Kyna got adjusted yesterday thanks to Dr. Danielle Kronk DC IVCA CCEP to get her ready. She was unsure about it and first, but ended up liking Dr. Kronk’s methods.

We don’t just work horses in the round pen. 😅 One of our clients came out today to meet with her vet (regular checkup - horse is fine) and we put the pups in the round pen to play while the vet was here. They had so much fun!

A quick update from The RIDE Foundation

Many of you have reached out to check on Sarah, and we’re incredibly grateful for all of the messages, prayers, and well wishes.

After dealing with a health issue for the past couple of months, Sarah had surgery this week and we’re happy to share that everything went well! The issue has been taken care of, and she is now home recovering and doing well.

Thankfully, summer is already a slower season for RIDE, giving Sarah the time she needs to heal. We’re looking forward to returning to our regular program schedule in October!

Thank you to everyone who has checked in and kept Sarah in your thoughts. Your support means so much to our RIDE family.

Today we’d like to thank our incredible program partners. Due to these amazing partnerships, we are able to reach many people that otherwise may not know or have access to our programs. We value our partner organizations so that we can help as many people as possible.
