Big Brothers Big Sisters Greater Fredericksburg was honored to be a vendor at the 6th Annual Planning District 16 Juneteenth Celebration at North Stafford High School on June 6.

Juneteenth is a time to reflect on freedom, celebrate resilience, and recognize the importance of building strong, connected communities. We enjoyed meeting families and other vendors, and sharing information about our mentoring programs. Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by to say hello!

Shavonne, Caroline, and our Program Specialist, Lily Stemberger, are currently at our Big Brothers Big Sisters of America National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia! They're listening to personal Big/Little stories, receiving national updates, and collaborating with fellow BBBS agencies on how we can improve and expand our powerful mentorship programs. We can't wait for them to return to the office and tell us all about it!
