Our love goes out to the family of Linda Perry. She was recently diagnosed with leukemia and lost the battle against it on Saturday. She was a handy person that was with FredCamp for many years. Her joy and love for the Lord was contagious. She shared her love of helping others with the campers, teaching them what they needed to know so that they could repair homes while repairing hearts. Her prayers were from the heart and down to earth. I can see her singing and dancing in heaven now, but she sure will be missed here on earth. I am thankful for the memories and the impact she had on the youth and adults at FredCamp.

The service is at 10:00 am on Friday, December 31 at New Song United Methodist Church, 7450 Colt's Neck Road, Mechanicsville, VA. It will also be live-streamed, but we don't know the specifics yet.

We’ve sent our campers out for the last time. And we revived a past tradition of sending them off wet. Be in prayer for our campers as they finish their work and start the work of closing up base camp for the last time.

Join us for a Silent Auction of FredCamp tools and more! Bidding is open NOW and will continue until Friday, July 5th, at 6:00 p.m. Items are on display in the hallway outside of the Commons.

All winning bids need to be paid and picked up (or alternate arrangements made) by Saturday, July 6th at 11:00 am.

All bids must be placed in person, but you can contact a camper or text Mindy at 540-847-6480 to place a bid for you. No online bids will be accepted!

We’ve been reflecting a lot this week about the impact this ministry has had in the Fredericksburg region over the last 21 years. When we started we were the only ones in town. Now wonderful organizations such as Catholic Charities have also joined in the mission of repairing hearts and homes in Fredericksburg. Join us as we celebrate our campers Thursday with our talent show and Saturday as we say goodbye for the last time.
