May is almost over, and we're closing out Foster Care Awareness Month with full hearts. 💙

This month reminded us why we do what we do. Every conversation, every share, every person who showed up for a child in need. It matters more than you know.

Foster care awareness doesn't end when the month does. But today we want to say thank you. To our foster families, our volunteers, our community partners, and everyone who has cheered us on: we are so grateful.

Here's to carrying this momentum into June and beyond.

Every family looks a little different. Some are built by birth. Some are built by choice. Some are built by a phone call in the middle of the night and a willingness to say yes.

International Family Day is a reminder that what makes a family isn't biology. It's love, commitment, and showing up for each other every single day.

This Mother's Day, we want to celebrate a particular kind of mother.

The ones who said yes when it wasn't easy. The ones who loved children who weren't born to them. Foster moms, kinship caregivers, adoptive mothers. Women who opened their homes and gave a child the most important thing they needed: someone to come home to.

And to every mom in our community, biological, chosen, or somewhere in between, we hope you have the most beautiful Mother's Day. You deserve every bit of it. 💙💐

May 1st means it's officially Foster Care Awareness Month, and what a way to kick it off. 💙

We were so honored to be contacted by Macon Neighbors to share the Together We Can story, and we're grateful for every opportunity to shine a light on the children and families we serve.
