Thank you to NBC Chicago for covering this wonderful day of volunteering at Sleep in Heavenly Peace building beds for children in need.

And...if you look closely, you will see our VP, Carly, being interviewed --- as well as other Suburban Service League - SSL volunteers working hard! 🌍

All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. That's why a local non-profit, fueled by donations and volunteers, wants to make sure every child has a bed to sleep in.

What a wonderful morning Suburban Service League - SSL members and their families had building beds through the Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization 🛌

These beds are for children who currently do not have beds and sleep on the floor. We spent the morning turning a truckload of raw lumber into sanded, stained & branded beds — all ready to be delivered to children in our local area.

I love the Sleep in Heavenly Peace slogan: No kid sleeps on the floor in our town ❤️❤️

Please help us give a warm welcome to our newest Suburban Service League - SSL member, Alison Breiner. Welcome Alison!

Alison has lived in Frankfort for 12 years. She works in commercial finance and is a mother to two amazing boys - Blaine (9) and Sloan (6). In her free time, she loves getting together with friends, family and cheering for her boys at their activities!

When asked why she wanted to be part of the SSL, Alison notes, "With SSL, I know I’ll be able to make a direct impact and help so many who need it in our local community. I also want to be a role model for my children and show them there is always something we can do to help someone in need. I’m excited my boys will be able to attend some of the volunteer events to foster that love of service."
