Hello everyone,

We are getting close to the end!!!

All of the planting beds are complete thanks to a donation of plants from Alsip Nursery.

The retaining wall has been completed, along with some finishing touches on the flagpole.

Lastly, the granite has been delivered to the monument company. In the next couple of weeks we expect the granite to be engraved with the wording and installed, lights to be installed, and the flag to be raised at the dedication ceremony (date TBD).

Thank you all for being with me for the journey. This project was a lot of work and I'm glad to see it come to a successful close in the coming few weeks!.

Hey everyone,

I know its been a while since my last update. Due to the weather we have had the past couple of weeks the construction was delayed. However, we will continue construction this week. The lights will go in on Monday and the brick work, retaining wall, and other work will be happening later in the week!!!
