You might have heard a little thunder out there, but the fun is still on! We plan to play rain or shine. If the weather forces us indoors, we will move the games and activities into the St. Monica School gym.

Join us next Tuesday, June 16 at 7:00 p.m. for this summer's first Rec & Connect at St. Monica Church, part of our Summer at STME series.

Dcn. Jacob Bruns, our teaching seminarian will lead this fun opportunity to bring your family closer to our parish community this summer. This past April, Dcn. Jacob was ordained to the transitional diaconate and is in his final stretch of seminary before ordination to the priesthood next May.

🏡Hometown: Sussex, WI
⛪The Call to Ministry: His journey began with a simple nudge during a high school service trip when someone told him he’d make a good priest. After a pivotal retreat at St. Francis de Sales Seminary during his freshman year at UW-Milwaukee, he knew it was time to answer the call.
🏃‍➡️On the Off-Hours: When he isn't studying philosophy or theology, Dcn. Jacob loves staying active. You can find him running half marathons, golfing, fishing, hunting, sailing, paddleboarding, or catching a good movie.
☕Go-To Fuel: A hot black coffee.
😇Favorite Saints: St. Benedict of Nursia & St. Catherine of Siena
