The faith communities of Saint Eugene and Saint Monica Parishes give thanks as Deacon Bob Larkin marks his 10th ordination anniversary to the Sacred Order of Deacons on August 27.
For a decade, Dcn. Bob has walked among us a true servant-leader, being there for our parishes with steady faith and dedication. We have been richly blessed by Dcn.’s presence and devotion to the Sacraments. Whether proclaiming the Gospel at the altar, welcoming new life into the Church through Holy Baptism, or standing witness to God’s grace in Holy Matrimony, Dcn. has been a consistent source of encouragement, hope and support for our faith family.
We remain deeply grateful for his generous "yes" to the Lord’s call, continuing the noble ministry of service first handed down by the Apostles. Deacon Bob’s humble ministry reminds us what it means to serve the Lord with gladness.
May the Holy Spirit continue to strengthen and guide Dcn. Bob as he faithfully shepherds and serves our parish family in the years ahead.
