Thanks to our amazing community support for helping make this new outdoor seating area happen!

Bayside Middle School students are putting their new outdoor learning area to use! The new seating gives students and teachers another place to learn, collaborate, and enjoy time outdoors. ☀️📚

The addition is part of the District’s Outdoor Education Initiative and was made possible with support from the Fox Point-Bayside Educational Foundation.

We’re excited to see this space come to life at BMS and see students making it their own! 🌳✏️

Today was our final board meeting of the school year, and we celebrated a $60,000 contribution to the Outdoor Education Initiative. Thanks to the amazing support of our community, these funds will help the Fox Point-Bayside School District create outdoor learning spaces at both schools, giving teachers more opportunities to take learning outdoors into the fresh air. The work at Bayside Middle School will be underway this summer!

Thank you to the board for your hard work this year, and special shoutout to Amy Bazelon, Nicole Cook, Jolena Presti, and Laura Roberts as they complete their board service. These women have collectively helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to support our schools over the years. Their work will leave a lasting impact on our district for many years to come!
