Congrats to the class of 2026.
One very special shout out to Noah Sparks.
Noah and I have known each other since his 6th grade year. He was one of the first kids to walk through the doors when we started LLP in May of 2023.

My grief for my sister was very fresh and Noah could see it and acknowledge it. This last year he came up to me on her 3rd death anniversary, hugged me and said “I know what day it is. “

It seems that in May of 2023, Noah and I both had struggles. Life was messy and hard.
There was one night that I wanted to quit the teen center. It was a rough patch . I gave Noah a ride home that night and he said to me “Please don’t quit . This is the place I feel loved and accepted.”
Thank you for that moment Noah. You gave me the courage to keep going.

I watched him walk in the gym today proudly wearing his cap and gown . That HE earned. He has come so far since 2023. We both have .
I am so so proud of the compassionate young man he is growing in to.

Thank you Noah Sparks for teaching me as much as I have taught you. Keep learning , growing and shining.

Go be the change you wish to see in the world .

Celebrated some of our Seniors tonight.

Meatballs, pasta salad, veggie tray and cupcakes. Painting and friendship.

They are all dear to our hearts and we wish them the very best on their new journeys.

Tonight we had to have hard conversations. We had to be brave, patient , empathetic and real.
We could not be more proud of these kids in the face of hard things that break our hearts.
