🌳 Love the outdoors/ drive time? How about helping Transport kitties to/from fosters or vet appts?

🐈 Adopted from us & on FB?? We would Love a few more Glowing FB reviews!

☎️ 📞 Hoping to find someone to head up outreach / volunteer scheduling for the Fowlerville sale... ( few hrs a week )

✂️ Crafty?? We're still thinking of starting up that Makers group/ offering hand crafted Donation Gifts .... we could make cat beds, plant hangers, cat toys, blankets... ( could you Host, instruct, join, make, encourage, sell...?)

🐈‍⬛️ 🐱 Near Okemos? We need more folks to clean/ feed/ play at our PSP adoption enclosure... shifts are only a 30 to 45 min commitment ( we ask you try to take a min 2 shifts per month)

💪 We will be needing a little Muscle to pack/ set up / move items for our Fowlerville Yard Sale, late July. ( Donations needed too! )

Our Awesome, handsome & chill furfriend, Jameson, will be returning to Pet Supplies Plus - Okemos, MI TOMORROW ( 29th)!! If you have been dreaming of the Puuuurrrrrfect Cat - this guy is IT. Good w other cats & most kids, Lovey & fully vetted, this 6 yr old boy is the Best Man for any home. RUN, DONT WALK ... I'd keep him if I could!

We've been talking about the Need to run the Rescue a bit more like a business & a smidge less like a 24 hr over-caffeinated Super Momma... so a couple questions?
❤️. What would you think as a new adopter, about a $20 nonrefundable Reservation deposit?
💜 What would you Most like to see TCC Change / Do in the future?
💛 We are thinking of hiring a 4-6 hr /week paid office help person. Would it affect how you think about us/ donating? ( UNLIKE MANY RESCUES, NO ONE AT TCC HAS EVER BEEN PAID PREVIOUSLY)

Have you ever had to weigh a Tough decision- Risk vs Reward... for someone who couldnt tell you What they'd want?!? We had that last week when we were asked to intake a pretty Momma tuxedo & her 2 babies... Yep, we were Full. Normally, Id have told them to join the waitlist. But Bijou ( w congenital kidney disease) & Zeus were alone in the world & could benefit from a Momma/ family. My biggest concern for the 2 already in my care? That Bijou's short life will end soon, and Zeus will be alone... They both could really benefit from a Family. BUT - what if Momma rejected Bijou? What if they brought in an illness? ( New intakes are pretty much Always quarentined for a period of time for medical / tempermental assessment) What if they didn't "gel", and I had Another room/ overextended myself Again & cant do my best by Any?? Rescue... its a delicate balance, a crap shoot of Hope, a labor of exhausted love and debt...
But this one paid off for the babies. Bijou immediately returns from every feeding to the carrier " home" to snuggle w Momma! And the 3 busy bees play, play, play Together....
❤️ AT TCC, ITS ALLLLLL ABOUT GIVING THEM OUR BEST. Thank you for supporting us while Together we Save. 🧡
