We tried to talk him out of it... but our TCC Mascot, Gizmo, has HAD IT this morning! Giz has been helping in office & after 8 intake requests Today, he insists on sharing some Rescue kitty wisdom -
** Furfriends are FAMILY. You are an Adult who made a Commitment to a defenseless - unless you keep makin me mad! - being. If you wouldn't throw your kids out, you also shouldn't to your "pets"!! Here's some Gizzy ideas to help you be more Responsible. **
* MOVING?? Dont look at places to move that dont allow pets! Can't afford the fees? Get a roommate or stop ordering Grubhub 3 meals per week... There's also the possibility of making some extra dough creating your sexy furfriends an Onlypaws 😉
* Boyfriend/ child/nosy neighbor have ALLERGIES? Gizmo will send mr sniffles a scribbled script for Claritin... and Have you thought of brushing, pet wipes & an air purifier? Btw - there's also now Cat Food for that!!
* TODDLER or baby not appreciate kitty or vice versa?? Hey, Mrs Rescue over here doesnt care for toddlers .... if we Must coexist on this planet: 1, Give your pet ( or Rescue lady) a child-free zone to escape to. 2, pheromone products & meds can be helpful - collar, plug in, or whatever gets ya meeellllo. 3, teach children to be gentle, kind & practise restraint ... it will serve them well in Many phases of life!
* GRANDMA pass away & none of the family will take in her 15 yr old bff? SHAME ON YOU... Gma loved that baby. We hope she haunts your home w farts to kill a horse. An older cat can live happily w an hour a day of attention in a single room - be a decent human & do the Right thing.
* Multiple PETS FIGHTING? It takes time & patience. Give each pet its own space, lots of play, slow intros/ play or treat times Together / pheromones, calming products, climbers, vertices spaces, less stress, medications....Reach Out for ideas / advice - we can often help!! Lulu is a toy hog & Bowie 💩 outside the box.... Gizmo deals w it!
* Struggling w FINANCES? There are resources: vetting - look for low cost clinics or ask those braggy relatives for a loan?
food - pet pantries, Rescues, shelters, coupons, clearance items or Invite some mice over! Tastes like chicken 🐔😋🤪
* Furfriends PEEING Outside the box? If you can train a kid, you can train 95% of us ... have ya tried deterrent sprays, cleaning the box more, a vet check, looking into medical issues/ food intolerances, more/ bigger boxes, different /unscented litter, potty pads, keeping yer stinky 👞 & underduds Off the floor? Or maybe kitty is pi@ off cause yer looking for reasons to call a Rescue - 👀
🧡 70 Million are Homeless already. Shelters & Rescues are full. Dont make Gizmo come over there & poo in yer shoe! FAMILY IS FUREVER. ❤️
