❤️ Community Partnerships in Action!

A special thank-you to Southern PGC Community Charities for joining our Neighbors in Action at Fort Washington Food Pantry this past Saturday!

The morning started out frigid, but that didn’t stop this wonderful group from showing up, rolling up their sleeves, and serving alongside our dedicated volunteers.

Together, we helped provide food to 217 households, representing 649 individuals, through our partnership with Capital Area Food Bank

As a 100% volunteer-run organization, community groups like Southern Prince George’s County Community Charities play an important role in helping us continue our mission. Your willingness to give your time and energy makes a difference, not just for the neighbors we serve, but for our entire pantry family.

We appreciate your partnership, your commitment to service, and the positive energy you brought to our Saturday distribution. We look forward to welcoming you back!

🛍️ Bring a Bag, Help a Neighbor!

“I wish I could help or donate.” We hear this often from neighbors picking up food—and here’s a simple way you can! ❤️

Fort Washington Food Pantry welcomes donations of clean, dry plastic grocery bags, brown paper bags, and reusable shopping bags without holes. Your extra bags can help us pack groceries for another family.

🚗 During Saturday distribution: Keep donated bags together in your trunk and let a volunteer know you’d like them collected while we load your groceries.

📍 Drop off: Bring bags during our volunteer hours or inside Rosecroft Raceway, seven days a week, 11 a.m.–11 p.m.
6336 Rosecroft Drive, Fort Washington, MD

Giving is always optional. You do not need to donate bags to receive food.
