We have Heroine Wendie Thomas and the son of PMAM Kelli McCoy Burkett, Reggie McCoy, that we are walking in honor of.
If you have anyone in your family that survives with Lupus please let us know.

💜 Please wear purple. Purple is the recognized color for Lupus awareness and is used worldwide to symbolize support for individuals managing the disease. The purple awareness ribbon serves as the primary visual emblem, representing hope and solidarity within the community. 💜

Date: September 26, 2026
Where: National Mall - Constitution Gardens at 17th & Constitution. You can put the LockKeeper's House in your map as our walk site will be located right behind this historical landmark!

Check-in: 8:30 AM - Our event site opens at 8:30AM! Get to the walk early to enjoy the music, meet other lupus warriors, and check out our amazing sponsor booths!

Ceremony: 9:30 AM

Walk Starts at 10:00 AM - The course will be walking along the monuments surrounding Constitution Gardens and will be about 1.1 miles long. Official course map coming soon!
