At the beginning of June we kicked off our STEMventures summer programs! We want to highlight our Jurassic Week 🦖! This week our STEM kids got to experience what it would be like to be a paleontologist in the field. They used Fossil Dig kits to discover fossils and carefully built them back carefully to their original state. Kids also explored the jurassic eras, life as a dinosaur, and the ultimate extinction of dinosaurs through hands on STEM activities!

HUGE thanks to Mayor Doug!!! He sat down with two of the KATB kids today to talk about civics and community. One of our state contenders for spoke about her project and civic ideas. Our other student spoke about youth and community involvement. Thanks to City of Fort Morgan for having such a caring team!! .

Our STEM kids LOVED their meals! We are grateful for Munch N Glow LLC for helping us out and making amazing meals for our kids to enjoy!!

How did you celebrate ? We treated Morgan County Ambulance Service - MCAS to some sweet treats for all they do for our community! Some great KATB kids have worked for MCAS AND some MCAS cadets have worked for KATB. It’s a great community partnership!
