Dear Members,

The elevator at the Fort Monroe YMCA is currently out of service. We understand this may be inconvenient and apologize for the disruption.

The building is maintained by the Fort Monroe Authority, which is responsible for the repair and is currently working to secure the necessary parts. While the repair is outside of the YMCA's direct control, we are in regular communication with them and will provide updates as we receive them.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this situation together.

More than 1,000 summer campers came together July 28-29 for our annual Summer Camp STEAM Fair at the Virginia Air & Space Science Center. At the Y, we are committed to helping kids succeed by bridging the summer learning loss gap and introducing exciting opportunities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). This popular event showcased the impact that partnership, volunteerism, and hands-on learning have on our communities.
