🐴📚 Celebrating the Power of Horses, Reading, and Community! 📚🐴

We are so excited to share that Rhythm of the Horse was featured in the Fort Lupton Press! 📰 A huge thank-you to Belen for taking the time to visit us and write such a wonderful article highlighting our Horse Powered Reading program and our collaboration with Weld RE-8 School District!

We recently wrapped up our final session with our amazing 1st and 2nd grade students, and we are so proud of the progress, confidence, and love of learning these young readers have developed along the way! ❤️📖 It's been such a joy to watch our students build literacy skills and confidence through their unique connections with our horses.

🐴🎉 What a FUN day at the Trapper’s Day Parade! 🎉🐴
Rhythm of the Horse had an absolute blast celebrating Trapper’s Day in Fort Lupton last weekend! 🤠🐎 We loved being part of this wonderful community tradition and bringing plenty of horses, smiles, and fun to the parade!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, waved, cheered, and helped make the day so special. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such an amazing community and loved sharing a little of the Rhythm of the Horse spirit with everyone! ❤️

📚🐴 Galloping Into Literacy — Week 3! 🐴📚
We are excited to share another update from our Gallop Into Literacy Horse Powered Reading Program! 💚
Now in Week 3, our amazing 1st and 2nd grade students are continuing to build their literacy skills, confidence, and love of learning through the unique partnership between Rhythm of the Horse and Weld RE-8 School District.
This week, students worked on:
🔤 Practicing sight words
🐴 Identifying sounds within words
👂 Listening carefully to words and identifying the vowel sounds they hear
💪 Building confidence and strengthening their reading skills
We love watching these students engage, participate, and discover that learning can happen in so many different ways—including alongside a horse! 🐴❤️
Our Horse Powered Reading program combines literacy activities with the calming, motivating presence of our equine partners to create a fun and encouraging environment where students can practice skills while building confidence.
We are so grateful to Weld RE-8 School District for partnering with us to bring this program to students and to the community organizations whose support helps make this opportunity possible. Together, we are helping students find their voice, build confidence, and gallop toward literacy! 📖🐴✨
