We’re so grateful for incredible humans like Colin and Anthony from United Airlines 💙✈️
They first joined us back in April with a large volunteer group, but their project wasn’t finished when supplies ran out. They could have easily called it a day and moved on—but they didn’t.
When the panels arrived, Colin came back… and brought Anthony with him to get the job done 💪
That kind of commitment says everything about who they are. It’s not just about showing up—it’s about following through, caring deeply, and making a real difference for our horses and the people we serve 🐴❤️
Thank you both for going the extra mile. We see you, and we appreciate you more than words can say 🙌

Three Legs, One Big Heart:
Helping O'Malley ❤️🐾
Many of you know and love O’Malley, our resident barn cat 🐾 and faithful companion at Rhythm of the Horse 🐴. Whether he’s greeting participants, offering quiet comfort during sessions, or simply bringing smiles to everyone he meets, O’Malley has become a truly cherished member of our therapeutic family ❤️.
Recently, O’Malley suffered a serious injury and broke his leg. After careful consideration, the difficult decision was made to amputate.
While this has been a challenging journey, O’Malley continues to show incredible resilience 💪. He is slowly recovering and learning to adapt to life on three legs. His strength, determination, and loving spirit remain unchanged—reminding us all that challenges don’t define us, they reveal our strength ✨.
The unexpected surgery and veterinary care 🏥 have created significant medical expenses, and we are reaching out to our community for support 🤝.
If O’Malley has ever brightened your day ☀️, comforted your heart, or made you smile 😊, we invite you to consider making a donation toward his care. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ensure he receives the continued medical attention he needs 💖.
Thank you for supporting O’Malley and for being part of the Rhythm of the Horse family 🐎. We can’t wait to see him back to his favorite job—bringing comfort, joy, and healing to all 🐱💫.

🌾 It’s hay time at Rhythm of the Horse! 🌾
We’ve officially started collecting our hay supply for the year—an essential part of keeping our therapy horses happy, healthy, and ready to serve.
A huge thank you to Terri, the mother of one of our participants, for helping us find and load hay with her tractor. Your support means so much!
It truly takes a village to care for these incredible horses who give so much to others every day. 💛🐴

Meet O'Malley 🐈‍⬛

On Sunday morning, while feeding the animals, Liz noticed O'Malley was suddenly unable to bear weight on one of his front legs. We still don't know exactly what happened, but after consulting with veterinarians and the board members at Rhythm of the Horse, he was rushed to the emergency vet.

X-rays revealed a severe fracture. O'Malley was placed in a splint, given pain medication, and sent home while we arranged specialized care.

He is now scheduled to be evaluated at CSU, where veterinarians will determine whether his leg can be repaired through surgery or if amputation will be the best path forward. At this time, we simply don't know what his treatment plan will be until they complete a full examination.

The estimated cost of his care is currently between $1,000 and $4,000.

Despite everything, O'Malley has remained incredibly brave. He continues to eat, purr, seek attention, and remind us every day why he is such a special part of our farm family.

If you are able to contribute toward O'Malley's medical expenses, any amount helps. If you cannot donate, sharing his story means the world to us.

Thank you for helping us give this sweet boy the chance to continue living the life he worked so hard to build.

Meet O'Malley 🐈‍⬛

Two years ago, O'Malley wandered onto the ranch as a stray cat looking for food, shelter, and maybe a little kindness.

Justine and Liz worked hard to gain his trust through meals, warm cat beds, and patience in the hopes that he would choose to make Rhythm of the Horse his home. Eventually, he did.

O'Malley began spending time around the therapy room, curiously watching students and visitors as they worked with the horses. While he never demanded attention, he always seemed to want to be part of whatever was happening, quickly becoming an essential part of our program as a therapy cat.

Today, O'Malley needs our help 😢

An Ike update 🐴🤍
Since joining the Rhythm of the Horse family in August 2025, Ike has settled in so well with the herd and truly become part of the family here at ROTH.
His calm temperament, gentle nature, and loving personality have made him a wonderful addition to our equine assisted therapy program. Clients, volunteers, and staff alike have all fallen in love with him, and he continues to make meaningful connections with everyone he meets.
We are incredibly grateful for Ike and the comfort, confidence, and joy he brings to our barn each day. Thank you to everyone who supports ROTH and helps horses like Ike make a difference in the lives of others. ✨

An unforgettable evening filled with connection, community, and compassion 🐴🍷🧀
Rhythm of the Horse recently hosted a beautiful wine and cheese fundraiser featuring selections from Germany, Spain, and right here in Colorado. From savory bites to meaningful conversations, the night brought together many new faces in support of a shared mission.
As a non-profit equine-assisted therapy organization, Rhythm of the Horse is dedicated to helping individuals of all abilities grow, heal, and thrive. Every dollar raised from this event goes directly toward scholarships—ensuring that those in financial need can still access life-changing therapy services.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and to our generous sponsor, United Power, for making this evening possible. Your support helps keep our programs accessible and our mission moving forward.
We can’t wait to see you at the next event! 💙

We are incredibly grateful to the amazing team from United Airlines for volunteering their time and energy at Rhythm Of The Horse! 💙
This hardworking group tackled so many important projects for us—repairing fences and installing new fencing, weeding the arena and pastures, cleaning out the hay shed (and replacing old broken pallets with new ones before refilling it!), building replacement wooden stands for the outdoor arena, and even replacing a gate post on the goat pen.
What stood out most was their spirit. Many of them had never attempted these kinds of projects or used the tools before, but they jumped right in—learning from one another, working together, and staying determined to get every task completed.
They were a fun, caring, and incredibly dedicated group of people. After hearing about our program, they were motivated to give it their all—and it showed in every project they completed.
We truly can’t say enough about their kindness, teamwork, and willingness to help. It was an honor to meet each and every one of you and to have your support.
Thank you, United Airlines, for making such a meaningful impact on our organization and the lives we serve! 🐴
