The Brothers of the Tau Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated are proud to reflect on another successful Triple Nickle Remembrance Run! 🪂🏃🏾‍♂️

As part of Omega Psi Phi’s Health Initiatives Mandated Program, this event provided an opportunity to encourage health, fitness, and wellness while bringing our community together for a purpose much greater than the miles we traveled.

For the Airborne Ques, that purpose is especially meaningful. With our Fraternity and Chapter’s deep connection to the military, the 5.55-mile course allows us to combine service and wellness with remembrance—honoring the extraordinary legacy of the 555th Parachute Infantry Battalion. Their service, courage, and place in American military history deserve to continue being shared from one generation to the next.

We are incredibly thankful for every runner, walker, volunteer, sponsor, partner, Brother, family member, and supporter who helped bring this year’s vision to life. From those working behind the scenes to everyone who showed up on race morning, your support was felt and appreciated.

What began as an idea has continued to grow into something our chapter and community can take pride in—and we’re excited to continue building upon it.

Health. History. Military Legacy. Community. Service.
That’s what the Triple Nickle Remembrance Run represents, and Tau Gamma Gamma is honored to carry that mission forward.

The first day of school was a busy one across our community, and the Brothers of the Tau Gamma Gamma Chapter made sure our students felt the support!

With three back-to-school events happening at the same time, the Bruhz spread out across the community to welcome students at E.E. Smith High School, Sherwood Park Elementary School, and West Area Elementary School as they kicked off a brand-new school year. 📚🎒

From handshakes and high-fives to smiles and words of encouragement, our goal was simple: show up for our youth and let them know their community is behind them.

Three schools. Three locations. One mission—SERVICE.

No matter how busy the schedule gets or how many places we’re needed, when there’s an opportunity to serve, the Brothers of Tau Gamma Gamma will find a way to be there. That’s what commitment to our community looks like. 💪🏾💜💛

We wish all of the students, teachers, administrators, and staff throughout our community a safe, productive, and successful school year!

The Brothers of the Tau Gamma Gamma Chapter recently challenged our mentees with a hands-on lesson in Time Management—by putting them in charge of planning their own event!

The mentees were divided into three teams: Planning, Funding, and Logistics. Together, they had to determine the type of party, location, target audience, budget and potential revenue, while also accounting for necessities such as food, security, insurance, and other logistics.

The catch? Limited time to get it all done. ⏰

What started as planning a party quickly became a real-world lesson on communication, teamwork, decision-making, budgeting, and most importantly, the value of proper preparation. Our mentees experienced firsthand how challenging even a great idea can become when there isn’t enough time to properly plan and execute it.

Another opportunity to turn mentorship into practical lessons our young people can carry with them beyond the classroom. 💪🏾

Plan ahead. Manage your time. Set yourself up for success.

The Tau Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. recently hosted our Community Financial Workshop, bringing members of the community together for a day focused on strengthening financial knowledge and building toward a more secure future.

Attendees received valuable information on budgeting and cash flow, credit and debt management, investing, building wealth, trusts, estate planning, and available financial resources. More importantly, the workshop created an opportunity to ask questions, share knowledge, and turn financial education into actionable steps.

Thank you to our presenters, volunteers, and everyone from the community who joined us and helped make the workshop a success. Financial literacy is one more way we can empower our community, strengthen families, and help build a foundation for generational wealth.
