Urgent support needed for a former unit member

Brothers and sisters, I’m reaching out to ask for support for the Cash family during an incredibly difficult time. Andrew's wife, son, and daughter were recently in a serious accident, and his daughter is currently in critical condition.

Alright… I’m calling some of y’all out. 😂

I’ve seen the excuses already…

🏃 “I’m not in shape.”

Neither is a Pop-Tart, but that hasn’t stopped anybody.

😴 “It’s too early.”

You get up at 5:30 to go fishing, hunting, or stand in line at Costco. You’ll be alright.

🏅 “I can’t run 10K.”

Who said you had to? Run it. Jog it. Walk it. Crawl the last 100 yards if you have to. We don’t judge… much. 😆

🌧 “What if it rains?”

It’s North Carolina. It could rain, be sunny, and have 30 mph winds before breakfast.

The JSO 10K is about more than running. It’s about supporting the Special Operations community, honoring our veterans, and spending a morning with some incredible people.

Plus… there’s breakfast afterward. Let’s be honest, that’s enough motivation for some of you.

So quit saying, “I’m thinking about it.”

Register.

Tag the friend who’s been saying they’re going to do this for the last five years. 👀

Hosted by the Special Operations Communicators Association (SOCA), this annual event celebrates 30 years of bringing together veterans, active-duty military, families, and community members through fitness, fellowship, and friendly competition.

Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Beckwith Lodge, Fort Bragg, NC, for a challenging and unique cross-country race experience.
