Just a reminder that our summer folkstyle classes are running on a combined practice schedule on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.

If we need to split the sessions apart in the future, we’ll let everyone know.

The Mavericks High School team traveled to VA Beach this weekend to compete in the NHSCA National Duals. The team started strong on Saturday going 2-1 to advance to the Championship Pool on Sunday where we went 0-3. This trip always a great experience on and off the mat. These boys got better at wrestling and made some great memories doing it.

JJ HOWLAND CAMP – WHAT A WEEKEND 🔥

This past weekend, Mavericks Wrestling had the privilege of hosting JJ Howland for two days of high-level training.

We had wrestlers from 5 different states in the room, all focused on improving their technique, pace, and attention to detail. The emphasis on intentional drilling and clean ex*****on set a high standard throughout the weekend.

We’re grateful to Coach Howland for bringing his knowledge and energy—and to every athlete who showed up ready to work.

Coincidence? We think not!

Harford County wrestling just had one of its strongest seasons ever, sending 58 wrestlers to the state tournament and showing major growth across the county.

At Mavericks, we’ve always believed the difference is simple: stay in the room. Off-season training matters. The wrestlers who keep showing up, keep learning, and keep competing are the ones who keep improving.

Mavericks has set the standard for off-season training. Get in a room and stay involved in wrestling.

Harford County sent 58 wrestlers to the state tournament and produced 3 champions, showcasing the increasing depth of talent in the area.
