Thank you to our friends and family that made our event a huge sucess! A special thanks to Starrk Moon Kayaks, Kayak Paddle Krafters and SawBillies Wood Carving Team for being our top contributors. Thank you to the generous donations given by many local businesses that were used to create baskets for our raffles, all of the bands that kept it rocking all day long. Let's do it every Sunday. Thank you to all of our bakers you all rock, it was wonderful to see a community pull together for such a great cause in honor of Dominic Orosio. Thank you to Stella, Angela, Andrea, Debbie, Erika and Kristen for running our raffles, 50/50 boards and bake sale. It really does take a village and we definitely have a strong AMAZING GROUP. Thank you to Double Groove Brewing Company for hosting the event, Meghan for helping with last minute baskets set ups. A Special thanks to Mark, your hair has never looked so good. Dominic's Story
Dom, aka "The Dominator," faced pediatric cancer with courage. Diagnosed at 5, he battled a low-grade Glioma. After an initial surgery, chemo, and a positive outlook, a second surgery in November 2008 left him partially paralyzed. To continue radiation without anesthesia hindering therapy, his mother and nurses created a superhero, "The Dominator." Through daily practice, Dom mastered lying still for treatments, impressing doctors.

Despite challenges, Dom smiled through post-surgery life. In June 2009, the tumor returned. Steroids caused weight gain, fatigue, and loss of mobility. On September 17, 2009, at age 7, Dom slipped into a coma and earned his angel wings on November 13, 2009.

Dom's story emphasizes the need for awareness and funding, with cancer being the leading cause of death among US children. Every dollar contributes to the fight against children's cancer, reinforcing the belief that together, we can make a difference.
