Hands to Work and Our Hearts to Serve

Did you hear the good news? 🙌 The 3rd Annual Heal the Land Outreach was a tremendous success! Praise the Lord for another year of impact, connection, and community love.

With “Hands to Work and Our Hearts to Serve” as our guiding spirit, this year’s outreach once again revealed the mighty things God can do through willing hearts. It was the dedication, faithfulness, and unity of everyone involved that made this event not only possible — but truly powerful.

The vision, first birthed through Minister Kristin Kibler and Minister Alayah Haywood, inspired by a sermon from Lady Bishop Beverly DeShazer‑Haywood, continues to grow deeper each year. What began as a desire to reconnect with the community through food, fellowship, and the love of Christ has now become a yearly move of God that strengthens families, uplifts spirits, and brings hope to our city.

To all who served, supported, donated, prayed, or simply showed up — thank you. Your presence made a difference. Your heart made it holy.

🌟 Moving Forward With Purpose
As we celebrate this 3rd year, we do so with expectation. We trust that God will continue to multiply every effort, expand the outreach, and deepen its impact.

Father, thank You for this new day and for the reminder found in Exodus 2:3. As Jochebed released Moses into the basket, You showed us that letting go is never done alone — Your hand is always beneath what we release.

Strengthen our hearts as we entrust our children, grandchildren, and those we’ve cared for into Your faithful care.

Steady us when letting go feels heavy, and remind us that You never lose sight of Your own. We trust You with what we cannot follow.
