โœจ Support just got a little more accessible! โœจ

NAMI Fond du Lac County is now offering a Virtual Peer Support Group to help connect more people with the encouragement, understanding, and hope that peer support provides.

Whether transportation, distance, scheduling, or comfort level has made it difficult to attend in person, this new virtual option allows you to join from wherever you are. Because everyone deserves supportโ€”and no one should have to face mental health challenges alone. ๐Ÿ’™

The virtual group will be offered the third Tuesday of each month from 6:00pm-7:30pm. You must register in advance by emailing [email protected] and a Zoom link will be sent to you.

The in-person Peer Support Group will continue to meet the first Tuesday of each month from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the Berry Drop In Center at 86 S Macy St, FDL.

Join NAMI Wisconsin for a free, virtual QPR Su***de Prevention training.

QPR (Question Persuade Refer) is an evidence-based su***de prevention training that anyone can benefit from. Like CPR in medical emergencies, QPR prepares participants to recognize the warning signs of su***de, ask direct questions, and connect someone to professional support. One conversation can help save a life, and these are tools that everyone can use!

This state-wide training will be hosted virtually on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 6:30-8:00PM.

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to remind you of something important:

Mental health matters every dayโ€”not just in May ๐Ÿ’š

This month, we shared coping tools, resources, and conversations to help build awareness and support within our community. We hope you found something meaningful to carry with you moving forward.

Remember:
๐Ÿ’š You donโ€™t have to have everything figured out
๐Ÿ’š Small steps still matter
๐Ÿ’š Reaching out is a strength
๐Ÿ’š You are not alone

Thank you for following along with us this month and for helping create a more supportive, compassionate community in Fond du Lac County.

Take care of yourselves and each other ๐Ÿ’š

Mental health support happens through connection and community ๐Ÿ’š

At NAMI Fond du Lac County, we believe nobody should have to navigate mental health challenges alone.

There are many ways to get involved:
โœ”๏ธ Attend a Togetherness Event
โœ”๏ธ Join a support group
โœ”๏ธ Volunteer your time
โœ”๏ธ Share resources and information
โœ”๏ธ Support our mission through donations or advocacy

Every conversation, connection, and act of support helps reduce stigma and build a stronger, more compassionate community.

Together, we can make a difference. ๐Ÿซถ
