🇺🇸❤️ Today we want to give special recognition to the incredible WOMEN Veterans of Flight #62 who answered the call to serve our country with courage, strength, and dedication. ❤️🇺🇸

Among these amazing ladies was a Korean War Nurse 💉🩺 whose compassion and service helped care for our nation’s heroes during one of America’s most difficult times. We also had several Vietnam-era women veterans 🇺🇸, including TWO who continued their commitment to our country through distinguished career military service. ⭐👏

During their Honor Flight journey, these remarkable women visited the Women In Military Service For America Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery — a moving and powerful tribute honoring the service and sacrifices of women in the United States Military. 🌹🇺🇸

There, they received special recognition for their service, and it was truly an emotional and unforgettable moment for all of us. ❤️

Thank you, ladies, for paving the way, breaking barriers, and serving our nation with honor and pride. Your legacy will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸✨

🇺🇸✈️ As we were preparing to land after an emotional 40 hours in our Nation’s Capital with our 40 honored veterans, we experienced a moment none of us will ever forget. ❤️

Thanks to our incredible partnership with Southwest Airlines, our Nation’s greatest heroes were blessed to fly aboard their patriotic flagship aircraft — Southwest Airlines Independence One. 🇺🇸💙❤️

Just before landing, something amazing happened… passengers who had no idea they had booked onto an Honor Flight began joining together with our veterans, guardians, volunteers, and crew in a powerful singing of “God Bless America.” 🎶🇺🇸 Led by one of our medical staff.

In that moment, strangers became family, tears filled eyes throughout the cabin, and the love and gratitude for our veterans could be felt from the front of the plane to the very back.

Thank you, Southwest Airlines , for always showing our veterans the LUV they deserve. ✈️❤️💙
