🧵 Calling All Quilters! We Need Your Help! 💙

Our shelves are full of beautiful quilt tops waiting to become cozy blankets for children who need a little extra comfort. Right now, many of our volunteer longarm quilters are unable to help, and we could really use some extra hands!

We provide the quilt tops, backs, and batting. You provide your talent, thread, and a little time! 💙

Whether you have a longarm or prefer quilting on your domestic sewing machine, we would love your help turning these unfinished projects into finished hugs for children in need.

Do you quilt, or know someone who might be willing to help? Please send us a message or share this post to spread the word!

Together, we can keep the love going, one blanket at a time! 🧵💙

😂🧵 FRIDAY FUN QUESTION! 🧶

Okay, Project Linus friends… it's time to come clean! 🤣

How many unfinished sewing, quilting, knitting, or crochet projects are currently hiding in your house?

👇 Pick your answer!

🅰️ Just one or two. I'm practically organized!
🅱️ A few… but I have a plan! (Sort of 😂)
🅲 Don't ask. I've lost count!
🅳 Enough to open my own craft store! 🛍️

Bonus question: What's the project you've been meaning to finish forever? 👀

Come on, friends! Confession is good for the soul, and we promise there will be NO judgment here! 😂 Tell us in the comments! ⬇️

🎃🧡 Halloween quilts with a purpose! 🧡🎃

Our volunteers love creating these cheerful Halloween quilts. Although we make only a limited number, each one serves a very special purpose.

These quilts are given to children who unexpectedly find themselves in a hospital, shelter, or other challenging situation on Halloween. While others may be celebrating, these children may be facing fear, uncertainty, or loneliness.

A handmade quilt offers comfort, warmth, and a heartfelt reminder that someone cares about them. ❤️

We are deeply grateful to the volunteers who lovingly make these special quilts. 🎃🧡

Last week, we had another wonderful blanket-making event at United Capital Financial Advisors! 💙

This was our second event with this amazing group, and it was so nice to be back! Their volunteers spent their time creating beautiful, handmade blankets that will bring comfort, warmth, and a sense of security to children in need through Project Linus.

Every blanket made is a tangible reminder to a child that someone cares. We are so grateful for the time, love, and generosity these volunteers put into each blanket. ❤️

Thank you, United Capital Financial Advisors for your continued support of Project Linus Dallas–Denton and for helping us make a difference, one blanket at a time!
