🌸 Fresh flowers are blooming in downtown Floresville! 🌸

Ahead of the forecasted rains, volunteers with Floresville Beautiful refreshed the downtown flower pots with colorful new flowers.

A special thank you to Gloria Morales Cantu, Mayor of Floresville, Candidate for Re-Election for stopping by and sharing her planting expertise and to all of the volunteers who helped make this project possible. ▫🙌🌿🌷

The Hometown Hero banners are proudly up around downtown Floresville in honor of May Military Appreciation Month 🇺🇸

Had the cutest little helper today adding USA flags to the downtown planters while showing off his Spider-Man moves 🇺🇸🌺🕷️

The Floresville Historical Banners are officially up downtown! 🙌

Floresville Beautiful is truly overjoyed with how they turned out and incredibly grateful for the participation from our community and the sponsors who helped make this program possible. These banners are meant to be a special way to celebrate and educate others about the people, places, and events that have shaped our community. We can’t say thank you enough to everyone who supported this effort!

A big thank you to the City of Floresville for installing the banners and for the close coordination that helped place each one near the location it represents.

Creating this project taught us so much, not only about Floresville, but also about the surrounding communities in Wilson County that are part of our shared history.

Please take some time to walk around town and enjoy them. We hope they bring a little pride and curiosity about the history that makes our community so special. 💗

Celebrating Floresville Day felt even more special this year with the new historical banners displayed throughout downtown. They truly tie into the spirit of the day by highlighting the people, places, and stories that shaped our community.

If you haven’t had a chance yet, take a drive or a walk through downtown and enjoy them. The banners will be up through the end of April, and they’re a great way to learn a little more about our town’s history while spending time in the heart of Floresville.

A big thank you to all of the banner sponsors and to the City of Floresville for helping coordinate the installation. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our town, meet new people who care deeply about our community, and be reminded of how special Floresville really is. I hope this continues as a tradition for many years to come. 🌼💛
