There are a few tickets left for the raffle of a pet portrait by award-winning textile artist Rebecca Segura! She works with clients using their photographs and spends months creating each amazing quilted 16"x20"ish likeness of your animal, from your present or from your past. This is an especially thoughtful gift for someone mourning a beloved pet.

Rebecca has generously offered to donate the proceeds from this raffle to the Wilson County Spay Neuter clinic. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here: https://givebutter.com/zfkl6R

These have to be seen IRL to be believed, but here a few examples of her stunning work.

Many of us have been reminded by the pitter-patter of tiny feet showing up on our patios that kitten season is in full swing. Kittens can be spayed or neutered as young as 8 weeks (if they weigh 2 lb) and it's never too late to spay or neuter an adult cat. You can make an appointment at WilsonCountySpay.org. And we won't tell your cat so they don't lose their mind!

We want to thank Wilson County Cats for sponsoring a cat day at the spay neuter clinic on February 4th, just ahead of kitten season. We were able to spay and neuter 45 cats, which means hundreds of kittens that won't be born this spring with no one to care for them. Among the 45 were these community cats, which kind community members took upon themselves to bring in. Way to partner up Wilson County!
