Lucky Dog Animal Rescue - Team South Carolina The SC Rescue Campus provides medical treatment and temporary housing for Lucky Dogs and Cats rescued from high-kill shelters in the surrounding areas.

We're the pit-stop for these animals before they are transported to VA to find their forever homes. Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected, and abandoned animals from certain euthanasia and finding them loving forever homes. We educate the community and all pet parents on responsible pet parenting, including the importance of spay/neuter,

obedience training, and good nutrition. The South Carolina Rescue Campus provides medical treatment and temporary housing for the Lucky Dogs and Cats rescued from high-kill shelters in the surrounding areas. Once spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and approved for travel, all animals are transported to Arlington Virginia to find their forever homes.

October & November surgery appointments are OPEN!

If your pet needs to be spayed or neutered, now is a great time to get them on the schedule! Appointments are limited and tend to fill quickly, so we encourage you to book early.

Spaying and neutering not only helps keep pets happy and healthy, but also plays an important role in reducing pet overpopulation in our community.

Appointment requests are online only, and a non-refundable $26 deposit is required at the time of booking.

Meet the Lady Stingers! 🥎🐾

We're excited to welcome the Florence-Darlington Tech Lady Stingers to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue!

Every Friday through the end of the year, this team will be volunteering on our campus as part of their commitment to building team morale, giving back to their community, and making a difference for animals in need.

Last Friday was their first visit, where they completed orientation and got to meet some of the Lucky Dogs and Cats they'll be helping throughout the year.

And then they did what any group of college softball players meeting a bunch of rescue animals would obviously do...

This one is theirs, and we love that they're excited to share the fun of volunteering with their audience and ours. Their energy, enthusiasm, and love for the animals are already showing up on campus, and we have a feeling that energy is going to be contagious.

Our next transport is 2 1/2 weeks away and our partner shelters need our help now more than ever. Take a look at these adorable faces waiting for you to say “yes.” When you say yes to one of our pups we can save another life waiting for our help in one of our local partner shelters.
